Important Education Survey - Please take it and Distribute it to Those Around You!
DDPC Network & Friends:
The Council’s Education Committee is gathering information about New Mexican children and families’ education experiences—especially with special education services—during pandemic school closures. Please help us distribute our DDPC Spring 2020 Education Survey to all parents with children who should be receiving special education or other accommodations (504 plans, etc.) in their schools.
(Vietnamese, Diné Bizaad/Navajo, and other translations will be distributed as they become available.)
We encourage folks to complete the survey immediately. We would like to gather as many responses as possible to inform decision-makers about New Mexico’s current educational landscape. The NM Public Education Department is already working on plans to reopen schools, and we would like to provide this information to guide their planning process.
We will post the survey on our social media accounts. Please follow us and share: Twitter - @newmexicoddpc, Facebook & IG - @nmddpc505.
We also ask that you help us distribute the survey to families who do not have access to the Internet. Parents/guardians may call DDPC at (505) 841-4519 for assistance completing the survey over the phone if they do not have Internet access. Parents/guardians who wish to remain anonymous will not be asked to provide any identifying information.
Please do not hesitate to contact Joe Turk, DDPC Chief Operating Officer, or me with any questions or concerns regarding our survey. We greatly appreciate your participation and sincerely hope you will urge the families in your network to complete this survey.
