Coming your way on Wednesday, January 4th either on your computer, tablet, smartphone or by phone is a brand new FREE one-hour webinar about the basics of fundraising.  It’s being presented for you by disability self-advocates in New Mexico who are collaborating with Southwest Alliance out of Arizona.  You must register in advance using the link below to attend with us live on Wednesday.


The webinar is aptly titled “Friend-Raising & Fundraising” to introduce the concepts of researching funders and building relationships to get you and your projects closer to the resources you'll need to succeed.  It’s the first part of a two-part series, with the second part covering the basics of putting together grant applications and funding proposals.  Part Two will be presented on June 7th.

        New Mexico self-advocates will be presenting the first part of a two-part webinar series about fundraising and grants on Wednesday, January 4, 2017. Part One is titled "Friend-Raising & Fundraising" and will cover how to go about building up networks and researching what kinds of funding might be available for your group's projects.

        On June 7, 2017, New Mexico will present Part Two which will cover how to prepare proposals and applications for grants and other types of funding opportunities.
